Who we are
RareFlavours is a private chef service based in Rugby, Warwickshire, run by Josh. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about this policy using the contact details on the reservation page.
What we collect
- Details you give us through the reservation form: your name, email, phone number, event date, location or postcode, number of guests, occasion, budget and dietary or allergy information.
- Messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Basic, anonymous analytics about how the website is used, if analytics are enabled.
Allergy and dietary information
Allergy and dietary details can count as health information. We only use them to plan and cook your menu safely, and only with your consent, which you give when you submit them.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and plan your evening.
- To deliver the booking you make with us.
- To send occasional news about seasonal menus and availability, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We use trusted providers to run this website and receive enquiries, such as our website host and form provider, who process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw consent at any time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
